Refund policy
Hey chick! First and foremost, thank you for shopping our store. We know you work hard for your money and the time you took to browse and treat yourself is precious. Second, we know it can be hard sometimes to pick the right size or shade, so we handpicked vendors that give us flexibility to offer you returns. It's just our way to help you feel confident and comfortable when you shop with us. So breathe babe - we got you!
THE BASICS:
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 {SEVEN} days after receiving your item to request a return. NOTE: The clock starts ticking the day the package hits your doorstep. This policy gives you time to try on things in the comfort of your home and even grab some opinions from friends and family. We are a firm believer in getting your bestie's opinion!
If your purchase just doesn't hit the mark, read and follow the instructions below.
THE PROCESS:
NOTE: To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Contact us at theritzyroosterinfo@gmail.com with the subject: RETURN REQUEST | {your last name). Let us know what you want to return and reason for return. If you want, go ahead and let us know the right size or color you're needing and we'll start hunting for you.
- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- You then have 7 (SEVEN) days to get that package in the mail using the carrier(s) provided.
- Now we both have to wait a bit. The vendor will inspect the return for approval. This can take 2-10 days. They notify me you're good to go and then I can return your money via the original payment method.

THE OH CLUCK! POLICY:
Some days life is like a broken egg - scrambled or fried - still good just messy. We get it. Life is crazy and you might have missed one of those seven day windows, or maybe you just didn't even want to deal with it. We got you. Email us (see above) with RETURN EXCHANGE | (your last night) in the subject line. You have 14 (FOURTEEN) DAYS to return the product(s) to us - same conditions apply. We will issue you store credit or store gift card equal to the amount paid at time of purchase.
THE NITTY GRITTY:
Damages and issues
Sometimes things just go wrong, like a cracked egg. Please inspect your order upon receiving your package(s) and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We do not accept returns for intimate wear or swimwear - it's just icky. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, clearance items, or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically awarded store credit equal to the original price amount included on the sales receipt. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at theritzyroosterinfo@gmail.com.
